After leaving New Orleans around 1:00PM, the bus arrives at Cajun Pride swamp tour location at approximately 1:30PM. Guests can enjoy 15-30 minutes of free time to explore the grounds, browse the gift shop, or use the restroom. The bus departs for the plantations between 1:35-1:45PM, with a 35-minute drive ahead.

Choose between visiting St. Joseph or Oak Alley Plantation. The guided tour of St. Joseph lasts about 60 minutes and covers the Manor Home and outbuildings, including original slave cabins, a detached kitchen, blacksmith’s shop, schoolhouse, and chicken coop. Many scenes from films like 12 Years a Slave and Roots were shot here.
